A Delicious 5th Year Anniversary Sweepstakes
with Kokoro Care Packages

To celebrate the fifth birthday of JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles, we’re launching a sweepstakes featuring delicious care packages by gift box service Kokoro Care Packages. Kokoro Care Packages is known for delivering exquisite, handcrafted Japanese cuisine to customers worldwide and in the process, supporting independent farmers and food producers and their communities around Japan.

As part of our mission to share Japanese art and culture with audiences in Southern California and beyond, we’ve partnered with Kokoro Care Packages to offer curated gift boxes featuring iconic Japanese snacks to five lucky entrants. Each box contains a sampling of favorite snacks from rice crackers to jelly dessert, hailing from seven different prefectures around the country and accompanied by a leaflet with information and stories bringing their regions to life.

Gift-giving is an important facet of Japanese culture, embodying values of respect, gratitude, and reciprocity. Thoughtfully chosen items and exquisite packaging are often used to symbolize deep appreciation, and to strengthen bonds of community and care. Through this sweepstakes, JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles wishes to express our thanks to the audiences near and far that have made our first five years so inspiring and meaningful. From August 1 ‐ September 30, enter for a chance to win this popular care package full of savory and sweet treats, straight from artisanal producers in Japan to your doorstep.

Eligibility:
Ages 18+ for United States residents.
Ages 20+ for Japan residents.

Mail a postcard with your name, address, phone number, and email address with a note referencing the Kokoro Care Packages Sweepstakes, to JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles, Attn: PR & Marketing Department, 6801 Hollywood Blvd. Suite 205, Los Angeles, CA 90028 . Upon receipt of the mail-in entry, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. All mail-in entries must be hand-printed.

There is a limit of one entry per person, and any entries attempted through the use of agencies, or robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar methods, or through the use of fraudulent email accounts are prohibited and will not be accepted.

Drawing:
Five winners will be selected by random drawing in early October, with announcement on October 17, 2023, and receive 1 “Raku” Care Package by Kokoro Care Package (retail value of approximately $72.50 USD).
