JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles, in collaboration with Kulapat Yantrasast and wHY Architects, invites the curious and creative to join an immersive afternoon exploring the SOU FUJIMOTO: FUTURES OF THE FUTURE exhibit. Yantrasast will first guide participants on a private tour, and then explore Fujimoto‘s concept of architecture as he encourages them to share their impressions of the exhibit, engage in a group discussion based on specific topic(s), and draw/sketch using special material provided. Light refreshments, including cocktails generously provided by Kikori Whiskey, will be served.

Speaker Profile
Kulapat Yantrasast
Kulapat Yantrasast is founding partner and creative director of wHY, an interdisciplinary design studio with workshops of buildings, grounds, objects and ideas. Yantrasast is expert on intersection between art and architecture, including how spaces can channel and foster creativity. Yantrasast received his M. Arch. and Ph.D. degrees in Architecture from the University of Tokyo.
